About Me

 I began my journey as a child. My great-grandmother was a sharecropper in Arkansas, and brought all of her knowledge with her to Detroit when she moved her whole family in the 60s. Even after my grandparents divorced, they still, independently, kept gardens for years, something I loved so much.  Once I became a mother, my love only grew. My eldest child was born with many health issues, which needed medication. Problem was, the side effects were HORRIBLE!! She couldn't stand them anymore by the time she reached 12. By 14, she quit her meds altogether. I had to start mixing up herbal remedies for her, just so she could function. Add some eczema tto the mix, and she could be absolutely miserable. My  2 sons followed suit. Over the years, I've crafted so many remedies for so many people, that in 2023, I started The Immortal Phoenix Apothecary. As I grow most of my own ingredients, my business is small. However, I am committed to providing holistic, herbal alternatives for all who need them. i
